Andaman Scuba Itinerary: 4–7 Days
How we actually shape a Havelock dive week: ferry in, sleep, tanks, surface day, fly. Neil and Ross as extras — not instead of Beach No. 5.

Build around the tank, not the postcard
A good Andaman scuba week is boring on paper: fly, ferry, sleep, dive, rest, fly. The weeks that fail try to stack Ross, Cellular Jail, Neil, a night dive, and a 6 am outbound into four calendar squares.
Four days (tight)
- Day 1: Port Blair landing, ferry to Havelock, no tank.
- Day 2: Try Scuba or a fun dive if you hold a card.
- Day 3: Second water session or a beach day if ears complain.
- Day 4: Surface morning, ferry, flight only if you have waited after the last dive — flying after diving.
Five to seven days
This is where retreats already live: Port Blair sightseeing (Ross Island boat, jail), Havelock scuba and kayak, optional Neil night on the longer packages. Read the live itinerary on the package. We will not paste prices here.
Certified guests add fun dives. People who want a card add SSI Open Water and should not squeeze it into a long-weekend ferry.
Mix-and-match rules we actually use
- Scuba first-timers: Havelock, not Neil-first. Havelock vs Neil.
- Ross is Port Blair, not a reef. Ross Island.
- Elephant Beach snorkel is not a tank. Elephant Beach vs scuba.
- Groups: one coordinator, spare weather day. Group planning.
Ferries: how to reach Havelock. Book water: book. Messy dates: WhatsApp.
