The person on the boat
Continental Scuba opened on Havelock in 2018. Sai still runs the briefing, the ratios, and the call when the sea is a no.
We are an SSI Instructor Training Center — not a ticket window. You meet the same small crew at Shangrila’s Resort that you later see on the boat. The Spider-Man suit is a calling card. The medical-fitness check is not.
Open year-round. You can book any month. If we are not on the water that day, we place you with a trusted Havelock partner.

“I never thought I would add a scuba review — that’s how scared I was. Sai did not give up on me. We went to 3–4 metres, which was a big deal for me, and towards the end I didn’t want to leave.”

“He taught me all the skills thoroughly and, most importantly, helped me overcome my fear of diving. I would highly recommend Ocean Spidey to anyone looking to do an Open Water course in Havelock.”
Suhas Pagolu
Telugu actor
“From the very beginning, Spidy was patient, supportive, and made me feel comfortable and confident underwater. I’ve gained not just diving skills, but also some amazing memories.”
Deepika Das
Kannada and Telugu actor
“We had an enchanting and a hilarious journey at the depth of 29+ metres, led by Sai, the Spidee. From Port Blair to Havelock and back, everything was taken care of with affinity and love.”
Umesh Vyas

“It was my first diving experience, and it was outstanding. I always felt safe and reassured. Sai and his staff are the best you can find on Havelock Island.”
Viola Turroni Casadei

“Continental Scuba treated us less like students and more like family. Every evening debrief was so precise that we could focus on enjoying the dive.”

How a day actually runs
We are a small shop. Continuity is the product — not a schedule we invent on this page.
01
Same table, same crew. Medical fitness, the site, and what not to touch.
02
Out from Havelock with the people who just walked you through the plan.
03
Shallows first if you are new. Walls and pinnacles when the skills are there.
04
WhatsApp is the same number after you log the dive. Questions do not expire at the jetty.
Island weeks
Port Blair, Havelock, Neil — itineraries live on the trips page. One featured package here; pick the crew that matches yours.

Season, swim, SSI, and how the bill works.
Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) is where we run daily tanks from Beach No. 5. Neil is quieter for snorkel. Ross Island near Port Blair is a heritage walk, not a dive site.
Yes. Try Scuba is 1:1 with an instructor. No swim certificate. Certification courses have their own skill checks, which we walk through before you book.
Year-round. You can book any month. October–May is usually the calmest water. In the southwest monsoon we still take the booking; if we are not operating that day we place you with a trusted partner.
Shangrila’s Resort, Beach No. 5, Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island). Same crew from the briefing table to the boat.
Scuba Schools International (SSI). We are listed as an Instructor Training Center. Older directories may mention another agency — this shop teaches SSI.
Catalog prices are in Indian rupees. GST is calculated on the package and shown as a total at checkout. Pay online with Razorpay, or WhatsApp the shop if you need help from overseas.
Pick Try Scuba, a course, or a week on the islands. WhatsApp is there if you are still deciding.
