Dixon’s Pinnacle, Havelock: After Skills Catch Up

Dixon’s Pinnacle is a Havelock pinnacle, not a lagoon. Continental Scuba briefs it for certified guests. First-timers stay shallow. No invented depths or manta promises.

A pinnacle is not a beach entry

Dixon’s Pinnacle (you will also see Dixon’s / Dickson’s in search) is one of the Havelock names SSI and this shop already attach to Continental Scuba. It is not the first-morning lagoon. You go when skills, ears, and the sea agree.

How we talk about it on Beach No. 5

Pinnacle means the reef stands up in deeper water. The briefing covers current, the plan, and who stays on the boat. We do not publish a tourist GPS, a “cleaning station timetable,” or a promise that a ray will pose for the camera.

If you want the honest list of sites we brief: Havelock dive sites. Johnny’s is the other named certified drop: Johnny’s Gorge.

Skill, not FOMO

Open Water is a course, not a shortcut onto Dixon’s because a blog said so. SSI Open Water and Advanced exist so the card matches the water. Certified guests book fun dives.

Weather still wins

June–September can mean we skip exposed pinnacles. We still take the booking year-round; if we are not on that site that day, we change the plan or refer a partner. Season note: best time to dive.

Live GST totals sit on the catalog pages. Book or WhatsApp with your certification level in the first line.
