Best Time to Dive in the Andamans
Continental Scuba runs October through May. What each stretch of the season is like for viz, crowds, and first dives from Havelock.

Our season
October through May is when we dive from Havelock (Swaraj Dweep). Most of those months are good. The differences are crowds, water temperature, and how often we cancel for weather.
October–November
Monsoon is finishing. Seas flatten week by week and visibility usually climbs. Fewer people than Christmas. A solid window if you can travel then.
December–February
This is when most visitors come. Seas are often flat, water around 27–29°C, vis commonly in the 15–25 m range on good days. Book early around Christmas and New Year — slots go.
March–May
Warmer water. We see more rays some years. April and May are quieter than winter. Still our season; still worth coming.
June–September
We pause boat diving in the southwest monsoon. If scuba is why you are flying, pick October onwards. More on that in why we don’t dive in monsoon.
Practical bits - December and January: try to lock dates 2–3 weeks ahead - Mid-week is calmer on the boat than weekends - Full moon can mean more current on drift sites — we put beginners on sheltered reefs those days
Send your travel window on WhatsApp and we will say what we are actually running.
