Monsoon Diving in Havelock
June to September the southwest monsoon hits the Andamans. What changes underwater, why October–May is easier, and how we book if your dates fall in the rain.

October to May is easier. We still book the rest.
The southwest monsoon brings wind, rain, and runoff. Exposed sites pick up swell. Viz in the shallows can go from a garden to brown. Currents get awkward. It is a harder first dive and a harder Open Water classroom.
The reef is still there year-round. We take bookings through monsoon. If we are not operating that day, we refer a partner rather than leave you with a cancelled boat and no plan. We will not pretend a July day is February.
