Scuba Diving Age Limit in Havelock
Try Scuba from age 10 with guardian consent. Courses have skill checks we walk through before you book. Seniors: tell us the medical history, not a blog myth.

Age is a screening question, not a marketing line
Try Scuba / introductory dives at this centre: 10 years old, guardian consent. That is the number on our Try Scuba FAQ. Younger than that, we do not invent a “mini scuba.” Go snorkel.
Courses
SSI Open Water and Advanced are not the same morning as an intro. Comfort in water, ears, attention span, and the medical form all matter. We walk through skill checks before you book. Send the child’s or parent’s age on WhatsApp instead of assuming a forum post applies to Havelock.
Older guests
Plenty of people dive here in their fifties and sixties. What stops a dive is usually ears, fitness, or an undisclosed condition — not a birthday. Say the truth on the form. We would rather plan a snorkel or a quieter site than pretend.
What the kid actually does
Same 1:1 intro idea as adults: face in the water, slow descent, instructor beside them. We cap Try Scuba at 12 m. It is still the sea. If they hate the mask on the beach, we stop.
Packing and honesty: what to pack. Non-swimmers: non-swimmer guide. Book the intro from the live page, not from this article.
